Introduction
After about 30 years abroad I returned to Corsica in 2006.
During this period I was particularly influenced by my time in Morocco, Iraq and Jordan and my travels to Syria, Egypt, Lebanon and Jerusalem.
My paintings fall between the abstract and the figurative and contain elements of both. Many of them are inspired by the experience of living by the desert and by the sea. The barren, magnificent, sublime landscapes of the desert and the ever-changing aspect of the sea, produce the same emotion, the troubling sensation of infinity. The following photographs are some examples of the inexhaustible source of inspiration that come from light and colour of "mer et désert".
